In addition to plugging into SinglePoint for new business submissions, Arbella joined a growing list of carriers that authorize their agents to retreive ChoicePoint reports while quoting in WinRater Home Rating Software.

Agents will no longer have to go to the Arbella or ChoicePoint site to run these reports. WinRater will do it for you.

In addition, WinRater will also display the report if you need to view/print it, determine the eligibilty of the risk, and refresh the quote.  All within a few seconds.

There is no cost for this functionality and is available now.  As long as you are running the latest version of WinRater and have an account properly setup with Arbella, you can begin running the reports in WinRater immediately.

Arbella is the latest carrier to join SinglePoint for Auto and Homeowners submissions.

Now Arbella agents can instantly transfer all the rating data from WinRater to a New Business Application in SinglePoint, where it can be uploaded to Arbella Connect.

SinglePoint eliminates the need for agents to re-key data in different carrier web sites, making submission faster and easier.

We’ve done our part in getting the rates to the carriers to test. Now we’re going back and forth with the carriers on some minor issues.We hope to release the rates very soon.  Sorry for the delay.

Last week we completed a major update that included the following:

WinRater Auto Rating:
- Arbella Rate Change (Effective 7/1/2008)
- OneBeacon Update to Advanced Quote per Company Request
- Enhancements to Trailer Rating
- New Feature — Email Auto Quotes using PDF attachments (See instructions below)

WinRater Home Rating:
- Harleysville Mutual Rate Change (Effective 7/1/2008)
- Merchants Mutual Endorsement Change (Effective 7/1/2008)

WinRater Umbrella Rating:
- Andover Revision
- Harleysville Mutual Revision

REMEMBER:
Once you update WinRater and download the latest carrier rates, you will NOT have access to the previous rates. Please be aware of this BEFORE running the update. (We generally send out rate changes a few days before the effective, at the request of agents, but again this overwrites the existing rates.) You can always get a quote from the carrier web site if you need to get a “day of quote” rates.
