To ensure that you are always running the latest version of WinRater, we recommend that you run SoftSync on your own at least once a week. Yes, we do send out announced emails when a rate change is posted or if there is an endorsement change. However, we usually hold off on small changes that are made sometimes daily but does not affect your quoting. Our normal practice is to wait until a major change is posted and add it to that. But you don’t have to wait for those small updates. Besides why wait when you don’t have to?  If you do not know how to update WinRater on your own, here are a few ways:

· At the WinRater Quick Start Menu, click on help at the top of your screen and select
“Check for Online Updates.”

or

· Go to www.winrater.com/update.

If WinRater is networked in your agency, only one PC needs to run the update (everyone must be closed out of WinRater).  If WinRater is installed on each computer locally, each computer must run the update individually.

Congratulations to Heather and Michael Concannon on their arrival of a beautiful baby girl by the name of Madison Marie Concannon.

Madison was born on April 25th weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs 5 ounces.

Aside from the family dogs, this is the first child for the couple and they are absolutely thrilled to be parents.

Don’t worry, a bleary-eyed Heather will be back to Boston Software before you know it!

Sometimes it’s better to provide facts & figures instead of constantly talking about how great a product is. So we’d like to show you some SinglePoint numbers that tell a great story:

• Since May 2008:
  - SinglePoint Submissions - over 70,000 Apps have been submitted to carriers for processing.
  - Averaged 3,000 submissions a week.
• Since February 2009:
  - Real Time Rating - over 124,000 quotes have been generated via SinglePoint real time rating.
  - Averaged 2,400 quotes a day.
• Number of CSR’s using SinglePoint: 6,000 (approximately)
• Number of carriers Plugged into SinglePoint: 15 (with more coming!)

For those agents that are not using SinglePoint or question its capabilities, take a look at the numbers.

Last week Peerless and Safety Insurance plugged into SinglePoint! You can now submit New Business Auto & Home Apps from SinglePoint to Peerless Agents’ Portal, and Auto Apps from SinglePoint to Safety Express (Safety was already plugged in for Home Apps). We’re happy to announce that it’s been a great success for the first week, the Apps have already begun to pour in!
