You may notice a new feature that was added to WinRater, our new Application Maintenance program. We have found a way to try to help with life’s little unexpected interruptions and help manage and maintain your important quote data.

To find this program, go to Utility > Application Maintenance.

From there you can:
· Make Backups of your important data
· Restore a backed-up dataset
· Run Database Maintenance
· Review your WinRater information (for integrations and other applications)
· Clean up temporary data

We want to officially introduce you to our newest members of the WinRater Community:

· Jim Mulroy – “The Techie” – Jim is spearheading SinglePoint tech support. Call him for all things SinglePoint!

· Alexandria Pudney – “The Rookie” – Fresh out of Quinnipiac University, Alexandria is helping to run the Admin department.

A vital but often overlooked step in getting an accurate HO quote is the distance-to-coast field. Be sure you enter the correct distance/value in WinRater. Carriers are often making changes to their coastal surcharges – Commerce/Citation is the most recent – so pay a lot of attention to this field. Notice that the the coastal field in WinRater now offers 1/2 mile increments for greater accuracy.
